It are the clichés: the Costa Blanca is the Florida of Europe; it has the most beautiful weather in Europe and the healthiest climate of the Mediterranean.Often people think when they hear Costa Blanca on the high-rises of Benidorm. Fortunately, the Costa Blanca region also has many authentic villages where the original character has been retained. For example, the place El Campello where our apartment is located, about 20 minutes away from Alicante, is a real Spanish town where many Spanish also celebrate their holiday in the summer. Lovely boulevard, great restaurants and of course many beautiful large sandy beaches.

Our spacious and luxerious apartment is located in the Mistral complex, one of the nicer landscaped complexes in the area. The private area has a beautiful swimming pool, tennis court and playground. Within walking distance you will find the marina, the boulevard and of course the beautiful sandy beach.

about 15 kilometers north of the famous Alicante is the coastal town of El Campello where our apartment is located. This place is a lot smaller than Alicante, but thanks to its beautiful beach, clean air and Mediterranean cuisine, the place is very popular with both Spanish and foreign tourists. Enjoy everything the Costa Blanca has to offer!
DISCOVER EL CAMPELLO
El Campello has been an independent place since 1901, until then it belonged to Alicante. It is on the coast, but also in a beautiful mountain setting. There is about 250 days a year of sunshine and an average annual temperature of 19 degrees. So relax!
It is a place of contradictions. On the one hand you have archaeological finds that go all the way back to the Bronze Age. A good example is the small isle 'Illeta dels Banyets', which was once released from the coast by an earthquake and shows that people were already living here 2,000 years BC. On the other hand, El Campello is a lively resort. During the summer there are many Spaniards and foreigners who enjoy the Spanish coast here. Many activities are organized in the place and everything is buzzing. Some people also claim that you breathe in the cleanest air in Europe in this coastal town ... take a deep breath and find out for yourself when you walk on the beach!
BEACHES
El Campello has an extensive coastline of around 23 kilometers. The most famous beach that belongs to the place is Playa Muchavista. This beach is about 3.3 kilometers long and eventually becomes the Playa de San Juan of Alicante. In the summer it is full of activities, there is a beach library and you can practice water sports. You can also rent beds or umbrellas and food and drinks are available. It is also easily accessible for people with disabilities.
Another popular beach at El Campello is Playa del Carrer La Mar. This beach is about 2 kilometers long and you will find it directly at the town and next to the fishing district. This beach is also nice for a day out, thanks to the fine sand, the beautiful sea and the many facilities. Families can also go here. A lot of children's entertainment is offered in the summer. Both beaches have had a blue flag from the European Commission for years and are perfect for a wonderful day of sunbathing and swimming. Do you prefer some quiet and authentic beaches? Then Playa de L'Almadrava and Playa La Cala Nostra in the north are good options. The diving enthusiasts can visit Illeta dels Banyets.
ACTIVITIES
There are all kinds of fun activities to do in and around El Campello, a number of examples:
- About 20 minutes drive north of El Campello you will find the caves of Canelobre, the largest and deepest cave system in Spain.
- You can take a boat trip to the islet of Tabarca off the coast.
- Golf enthusiasts have two courses nearby: Club de Golf Alicante about 15 minutes south and Club de Golf Bonalba only 10 minutes northwest.

Location and layout
The apartment has direct sea view and is located opposite the famous 'torre del campello' and just above the marina. With a 5 minute walk you are on the boulevard, restaurants, the beach, all nice shops and the supermarket. On our own grounds is the beautifully landscaped garden, lawn for sunbathing with large swimming pool with a separate area for the smaller children. There is also a playground for smaller children.
The apartment is fully equipped. 3 bedrooms, master bedroom with double bed and private bathroom, 2 bedrooms with double trundle bed. 2 bathrooms of which 1 with bath, a spacious modern kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, laundry dryer, active water filter system (= fresh drinking water, no bottles needed), air conditioning, 100mbit fiber optic internet, Dutch satellite television incl. Fox premier division, chromecast, blue tooth sound system etc.
